Chamonix - Franschhoek

The chamonix wine estate and accommodation situated about 5 KM from the town of Franschhoek, a vehicle is a must, as our accommodation is spread out across the estate.

Chamonix offers its guest several accommodation options,tastefully decorated, fully equipped and with views. Certain rooms have a seating areayou can relax. Some rooms feature views of the mountain or lake. Rooms have a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels is featured.

Stellenbosch is within 35 minutes drive and Cape Town International airport is 72 km away.

The accommodation is spread out across the Estate, so a vehicle is a necessity.

Chamonix No longer do Game Drives.

Only the Two Executive Suites in the Marco Polo Lodge, have a seperate door, to the Patio, although not a private patio for the Executive Suites only, as the Standard Rooms also have access to the Patio.

Due to Chamonix being in the process of planting new Vineyards, heavy machinery is working on the Estate.

Chamonix have No longer Game or the Game Reserve on the Estate.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that it is not possible to check in after 19:00.

Executive Suite - Marco Polo Lodge. This suite has air conditioning, separate entrance the the patio, from your bedroom, and Views over the Franschhoek Mountains ;
Marco Polo Lodge Suites. These suites feature a flat-screen TV, air conditioning and a private bathroom. Some suites also offer mountain views. ;
Forest Suites. These standard suites have air conditioning and offer a view over the mountains and lake. ;
Cottage with Garden View - Hadida Lodge. Featuring a private entrance, this air-conditioned bungalow comprises a kitchenette, 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and a hairdryer. Guests will find a refrigerator, a microwave and a toaster in the kitchenette. The bungalow also provides guests with a barbecue. Boasting a balcony with mountain views, this bungalow also provides a tea and coffee maker and a TV. The unit offers 1 bed. ;
Panorama Suite. This luxuious suite features a private balcony with Views over the Franschhoek Mountains ;
Four-Bedroom House. This holiday home has a kitchen, views of the valley and a seating area. The pool is for the use of guests staying in the Marco Polo LodgePanoramaHadida, but we do have a Lake which guests are more then welcome to use.
