We are located in the heart of Franschhoek on a quiet avenue, just a few minutes walk from Le Quarter Français and the lovely main street lined with boutiques, galleries, and restaurants.

Owner Michaela Julian has transformed this former guest housean eco-friendly, elegant boutique hotel utilising her extensive international expertise, giving back the warmth and sense of a family home balanced with modest elegance and comfort.

Michaela, a Co-Founder of the Franschhoek Hospitality Academy, and her highly educated and professional team offer their local expert recommendations onto eat, what to do, an exclusive wine tasting, and insider tourist ideas.

Each room is named after a local grape variety and has crisp linen, a mini bar with hot and cold beverages, and Charlotte Rhys products.

Enjoy a delectable a la carte breakfast overlooking the manicured garden and swimming pool, or share your experiences with other guests during the complementary sundowner wine tasting showcasing wines from our partner vineyard Haut Espoir, which produces unique handcrafted wines that are in harmony with nature.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Double Room. Our chic double rooms are a peaceful room with views of our beautiful garden; This is the ideal space for you to relax and unwind from the stresses of everyday life. There is a king- or queen-sized bed in the room. The bedroom has a safe, robes, a fully stocked mini-bar, a Nespresso machine, a kettle, and glassware. The room has an air conditioner and heated blankets. In the ensuite bathroom you will find Charlotte Rhys amenities. One of our Double rooms are upstairs, and one is downstairs. Children are welcome in some of our rooms, and we ask our guests to advise us ahead of time in order to make suitable arrangements. ;

This lovely upstairs luxury, air-conditioned double room with a private terrace and breath-taking views of the Franschhoek Mountains, features from your king or queen size bed, enjoy magnificent vistas in the morning. Air conditioning, a heating blanket, DSTV, seating space next to your own fireplace (fully stocked with firelighters, fire starters and starter wood.) and a small kitchenette with a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, Nespresso machine, cutlery, and crockery areincluded. Superior Double Room (Deluxe Suite Rose) This superior, air-conditioned double room features a Queen or King sized bed, TV with satellite channels, you will also find a safe, gowns, heated blanket for cold winter days, a fully stocked mini bar, Nespresso machine, coffee and tea making facilities and glassware. The en-suite bathroom is spacious with a free-standing tub and large shower as well as Charlotte Rhys amenities. This lovely room opens to a double door which leads to a balcony and seating area (not private - others can pass by). The room is large and features an open fireplace which isup for you complete with fire starters, starter wood and wood. In front of the fireplace are comfortable lounge chairs. There is a safe, gowns, a fully equipped mini bar, a Nespresso machine, a kettle, and glassware in the bedroom. The room has an air conditioner and warm blankets. The bathroom contains a shower (no bath), Charlotte Rhys amenities, and a single basin. Children are welcome in some of our rooms, and we ask that guests notify us ahead of time so that we may make appropriate preparations. ;
Small Double Room. Providing free toiletries and bathrobes, this double room includes a private bathroom with a shower, a hairdryer and slippers. This double room features air conditioning, a private entrance, flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as winechampagne for guests. The unit offers 1 bed. ;
Standard Double Room. Merlot is a comfortable air-conditioned double room offering the ultimate privacy with a king- or queen-sized bed that can be madetwin beds upon request.
