Gecko Cottages - Hectorspruit

Gecko offers three different accommodation options. There is an air-conditioned cottage with a seating area, terrace, private swimming pool and a fully-equipped kitchen. In addition, the property also offers two types of studio accommodation. The Standard Studio is a Queen room with en suite bathroom and BBQ facilities, while the Comfort Twin Room offers a twin room with en suite bathroom and a large screened patio with an outdoor kitchenette.

Dinners are available on weekday evenings at an additional charge. For the more adventurous, Gecko Cottages can arrange a day Safari in the Kruger National Park, payable directly to the Safari company.

We’re delighted to welcome your furry companions! Please note that only The Cottage @ Gecko offers a secure space designed for their comfort. There’s a small additional charge of R250.00 per night, which covers up to one large dog or two small dogs.

Standard Queen Room. Standard Queen Bed and Breakfast Room. This air-conditioned unit offers an electric kettle, a toaster, coffee machine and a fridge. Towels are supplied. Guests have access to the shared swimming pool at the main house. Please note that children cannot be accommodated in this room type. ;
Standard Twin Room with Garden View. This air conditioned unit has an en suite bathroom fitted with a shower and a built-in cupboard. Other amenities include a TV with Netflix streaming service, a kettle, fridge, toaster and microwave. The large patio is fitted with a privacy screen and built-in BBQ facilities, as well as a gas stove top and a sink. There is also a large, outdoor granite dining table with chairs. ;
Double Room with Garden View. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, kitchenware and a microwave in the kitchen. The double room also provides guests with a barbecue. The spacious double room provides air conditioning, a washing machine, a terrace with garden views as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower. The unit offers 1 bed. ;
Two-Bedroom Cottage. The pool with a view is the standout feature of this bungalow. This spacious bungalow comes with 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and free toiletries. Guests will find a stovetop, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and kitchenware in the fully equipped kitchen. The bungalow also includes a barbecue. The air-conditioned bungalow features a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a washing machine, a private entrance, a tea and coffee maker as well as garden views. The unit has 4 beds.
