Pafuri Camp by RETURN Africa - Makuleke Contract Park

On the banks of the Luvuvhu River, in the far north of Kruger National Park, Pafuri Camp by RETURN Africa invites guestsa landscape alive with birdsong, shifting light, and the quiet presence of wildlife. Here, luxury takes the form of simplicity in rhythm with nature: canvas tents raised beneath ancient trees, each one a sanctuary with its own furnished verandah overlooking the river’s flow.

The camp is fully serviced, with meals and high tea prepared daily. Communal spaces open to the outdoors encourage al fresco dining, while the swimming pool offers a cool pause between explorations. Inside each tent, guests find private en suite bathrooms, fresh linen, and towels, comforts that allow the wilderness to be experienced with ease.

Dining is thoughtful and inclusive, with special menus available on request. Beyond the camp, guides lead walks and open safari vehicle drives, sharing their knowledge of Pafuri’s rich biodiversity and layered histories. The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that children under the age of 6 are not permitted to partake in game drives and children under the age of 16 are not permitted to partake in bush walks. The participation of children in game activities is at the discretion of the guide and the child policy may from time to time change in the interest of safety.
