Recently renovated, the villa now features luxuriously upgraded rooms and cottages alongside a beautifully reimagined garden. Just minutes from award-winning wine estates, golf courses, and the beaches of False Bay, it’s an ideal base in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Located just 8 minutes from the white sands of Strand Beach, Villa Helderberg combines country calm with easy access to the city and coast.

Guests can unwind in our lush garden with shaded corners and fireplaces, enjoy a swim in the huge pool, or gather at the cozy Lapa with its honesty bar and braai facilities. Secure parking, high-speed WiFi, and easy access to nearby tourist attractions make Villa Helderberg both comfortable and convenient.

Somerset West, with its welcoming atmosphere and beautiful scenery, is perfectly placed between Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, and Cape Town. Our location is central to Somerset West with both malls, Vergelegen Wine Estate and the beautiful Helderberg Nature Reserve around the corner. Villa Helderberg offers something for holiday enjoyers, wine lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone simply looking to slow down and recharge. The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.

Double Room with Pool View - 1. An open and cozy room with double doors and a pretty pool view. Pool room 1 has a warm, romantic and spacious feel, decorated with earthy colors and natural materials. The room has a new big King XL bed (non-separable), a modern bathroom with walk-in rainshower, flatscreen TV with DSTV, a quiet mini fridge and a cozy seating area with basic coffee and tea facilities. The room is situated in a nook under the stairs which gives you a sense of privacy on your own little patio. Sip your coffee while soaking up the morning sun, before you enter the lush green garden and take a dip in the pool. The room is 20m2. An extra baby bed (cot) fits nicely in this room. ;
Two-Bedroom Cottage. Villa Helderberg offers 1 free standing, self catering cottage for 4 persons. The cottage is situated on the upper level of the garden which gives you the best garden, pool and mountain views, right from your own little sun room. The cottage is beautifully decorated with earthy colors and natural materials, it feels spacious but homely and cozy. The cottage has a big master bedroom with a Queen XL bed, a closet and a small seating area with a fireplace. The second bedroom is smaller but can perfectly accommodate 2 children in the single beds (adults also welcome). Please note that this room is divided from the rest with big floor to ceiling curtains and nice wooden slats for some privacy. The room is ideal for kids, with its wild animal theme. The kitchen is brand new and fully equipped with a stove, microwave, washing machine, kitchenware and a Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom is new as well and beautifully designed with a modern walk-in shower. Enjoy your fresh coffee at your dining table, in the beautiful sun room or on your own private terrace. But don’t forget to enjoy the rest Villa Helderberg has to offer! The family cottage is 50m2. An extra babybed (cot) would be available for the cottage (and other baby stuff if needed). ;
Double Room with Pool View - 2. Pool room 2 is situated right across the pool with double doors. An instant indoor-outdoor feel with the beautiful lush garden right at your doorstep. The room is bright and open with lots of natural light, decorated with earthy colors and natural materials. There is a new big King XL bed (separable if acquired), a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower and separate bath, SMART tv with DSTV, a quiet mini fridge and a cozy bar table area with bar stools. The room has basic coffee and tea facilities included. Sip your morning coffee from your room while enjoying the best view of the house, or relax at your own little romantic patio before you cool off in the pool. Pool room 2 is 25m2. ;
Double Room with Garden View - 1. Garden room 1 is situated right across the garden which creates a lovely indoor-outdoor feel. The room is cozy and romantic, decorated with earthy colors, plants and natural materials. The room has a new Queen XL bed, a bathroom with walk-in rainshower, a flatscreen TV with DSTV and a quiet mini fridge. The cozy seating area has a bar table and bar stools, so you can even get some work done if needed. The room offers basic coffee and tea facilities. Sip your morning coffee from your chill room or relax at your own little romantic patio in front of the room, before you enter the beautiful lush garden and take a dip in the pool. Garden room 1 is 19m2. An extra babybed (cot) would fit in this room. ;
Deluxe Queen Room. The African room is spacious, light and has a warm cozy feel, decorated with earthy colors and natural materials. The room is situated next to the main house on the upper level. The gate and parking are close which means you can sneak in or out any part of the day. The room has a new Queen XL bed, a bathroom with shower and separate bath, a big flatscreen SMART tv with DSTV, a quiet mini fridge and a cozy seating area (inside). The room has a big wardrobe and basic coffee and tea facilities included. This room also has (cold) airconditioning. Take a short stroll and check out the stunning views from the stairs, before you enter the lush garden to find your perfect spot to enjoy the outside area. The African room is 25m2.
