MHONDORO SAFARI LODGE & VILLA - Welgevonden Game Reserve

Situated inside the malaria-free Welgevonden Game Reserve, Mhondoro Lodge combines a modern mix of African chic and contemporary design. The lodge boasts a unique underground waterhole hide for eye-to-eye game viewing.

The air conditioned suites come equipped with an en-suite bathroom and a private viewing deck that overlooks the waterhole. The spacious villa has a spa pool, gym and yoga room.

Game drives are accompanied by professional rangers and are scheduled for the morning or evening. Special drives for children can be arranged. The lodge has an underground waterhole hide which is connected to the main lodge through a 50-meter reinforced concrete tunnel.

For relaxation, guests can work out in the fitness centre, or unwind with a pampering massage at the spa.

Mhondoro is located only a 2.5-hour drive or 1-hour flight from O.R. Tambo International Airport.

The hotel day starts from hour 12:00 and ends at 11:00.

Please note that there is a scheduled pick-up and drop-off time at Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa . Pick-up is between 12:00 and 12:30 at Mhondoro EcoFarm & reception and departure at 11:00 from Mhondoro Safafr Lodge & Villa . If you expect to arrive outside these times, please inform Mhondoro Lodge in advance. Private entry at the Mhondoro EcoFarm & Reception , located 2 km from Welgevonden Main Gate, there is a parking areaguests can park their vehicles prior to Mhondoro Safari Lodge & Villa collection.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. Three-Bedroom Villa. Featuring a private pool, gym and yoga room, this extra spacious thatched-roof villa has 3 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. It is inclusive ofmeals, selected local drinks, as well as a private game viewer with ranger. It also includes a private chef and butler, as well as housekeeping staff. This private unit has access tofacilities of the main lodge, which is within walking distance from the villa. ;
Two-Bedroom Family Suite. Two-Bedroom Family Deluxe Suite. 2-bedroom unit with ensuite bathrooms , a lounge and a dining area. It includes a private outdoor deck .The main lodge is within short walking distance ;
Executive Two-Bedroom Suite. This 2-bedroomed suite comes with 2 en suite bathrooms, a lounge area with a fireplace and a spacious private viewing deck overlooking a waterhole. The Main Lodge is within a short walking distance. ;
Honeymoon Suite. Boasting a private viewing deck with a plunge pool and daybed, this intimate and secluded suite features a spacious bedroom and an en suite bathroom. Located furthest away from the lodge, it offers the ultimate privacy. ;
Family Suite. Guests will have a special experience as the family room features a fireplace. The spacious family room provides air conditioning, a minibar, as well as a private bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and a bath. There is a tea and coffee maker, a seating area and a patio and complimentary winechampagne is provided for guests. The unit offers 2 beds.
